Question: When you anoint a person or something with oil, does this mean God will do what you ask?
Answer: The act of anointing with oil is an act of our submission to the will of God and His sovereignty in our lives. It does not obligate God to do something according to our wishes and desires. But He will answer us according to what is best.
Question: Who are some of the people in scripture who anointed with oil or were anointed with oil?
